Superintendent's Message

       A Message from the Superintendent

Welcome to the Lincoln Park School District.  We are a medium-sized school district comprised of a pre-kindergarten through fourth grade school and a middle school serving fifth through eighth grade students.  The district is in a send receive relationship with Boonton High for student in grades nine through twelve. Our high school age students also have the option to attend the Morris County Vocational School District. The Lincoln Park School District offers a safe, student-centered atmosphere with an excellent, up-to-date-curriculum and many student services. Every effort is made to optimize the learning environment for all of our students.

The district possesses an enthusiastic and motivated staff who work together to maintain an environment conducive to academic excellence.  Emphasis is placed on continual growth and development, and the Lincoln Park School District faculty takes advantage of many professional development opportunities including workshops, seminars, conferences, and graduate courses.  Many of our teachers have received advanced degrees, in order to better serve our students.  The staff consistently looks for strategies and new instructional methodology to better meet the needs of each and every unique child in the district.  These staff members provide a quality education in a safe and supportive environment.

The Lincoln Park Board of Education (BOE) is continuously looking for ways to improve the educational process of the District, while being cognizant of the needs of the community.  The BOE is committed to providing the teaching staff with the support needed to ensure that the students receive a quality education, which will help them become successful adults.  The BOE also understands that communication is so very important to the operations of a successful school district.  Community members who are aware and engaged in the district’s activities are vital having successful schools. Your input is important and the BOE welcomes your attendance at their board meetings, which are held twice a month in the Lincoln Park Middle School Media Center.

The Lincoln Park School District provides a rewarding learning environment within a positive, loyal community.  We are proud of our students, staff, and our community.  Lincoln Park’s success is a direct result of students, staff, and parents working together.  The Parent Teacher Organization plays a vital role in the success of the school district. Please remember that a school district is only as good as the family and community that are part of a child’s life. Through the collaboration between school, family, and community we will continue to assist our children in becoming the leaders of the future.
