Select Board of Education Policies--Alphabetical Listing
The Lincoln Park Board of Education develops and formally adopts policies in which the Board recognizes the mandates and constraints of law, establishes practices and standards binding on staff members and pupils, and gives direction to the Superintendent. Regulations list the procedures to be followed by the staff to carry out the policies of the Board. Typically the regulations are developed by the Superintendent and district administrators with input from teachers for most effective procedures to carry out the policies as written. Bylaws are the established procedures the Board of Education must follow to conduct their business.
