Program in the
Will Now Accept Three and Four Year Olds
The Lincoln Park School District is pleased to announce that we will be expanding our Preschool Program for the 2008-2009 school year in the Lincoln Park Elementary School by adding a morning class for three-to-four-year olds. Children in the morning program will attend two half-days per week. Transportation to and from the program must be provided by the parents. To be eligible, a student must be three years of age on or before June 30, 2008 and be toilet trained. A birth certificate, copy of immunizations, and proof of residency will be required for those students applying to the program.
Our award winning afternoon preschool will continue providing children who will be four by July 31, 2008, with an exciting pre-K program. These children must also be toilet trained and a birth certificate, copy of immunizations, and proof of residency will be required for those students applying to the program.
It is anticipated that there will now be seven openings in the morning program and nine openings in the afternoon program and these students will be selected by lottery. Applications for the programs are now available. The tuition is $1,000.00 for the morning program and $1,800.00 for the afternoon program and a payment schedule will be determined.
Applications will be accepted until 4:00 PM on March 26, 2008 and parents will be notified by April 1, 2008 of a child’s status. Applications may be picked up at the Lincoln Park Elementary School main office or you may download one here.
