Lincoln Park Middle School Athletic Code

You and your parents/guardians must read and sign this Athletic Code and return it to your coach before the opening day of the season.

          Our program of competitive athletics is open to pupils in grades 6 through 8. To be eligible to participate, students must first have parent/legal guardian consent and must pass a health physical. In addition, he/she must have passed all courses and maintained an overall "C" average in the preceding semester and have maintained a satisfactory record of attendance. Any pupil who fails to demonstrate good citizenship and observe school rules for pupil conduct may forfeit his/her eligibility for participation in athletic competitions.

          The following athletic teams have competitive try-outs for participation over the course of each school year. Game schedules for the current school year are posted before each season and modifications to schedules are posted as needed. Directions to all games are linked at the bottom of this page.

Note: Tryouts for Basketball and Cheerleading will start on Monday November 12, 2007. All physical forms and blue cards are due to the nurse by Wednesday November 7th. You will not be permitted to try out without these forms and cards.
